I ordered a cake for my mother’s 55th birthday. I sent a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like and it was perfectly executed!! This is not your average bakery. The gourmet cupcakes come in hundreds of flavor options, and I have yet to be disappointed. I have come in with some pretty unique ideas for birthday cakes and every one has exceeded my expectations. The cakes are scrumptious, and the attention to detail is astounding. Supreme artistry from the team – bakers aand designers. I can’t even look at a store-bought cake.
Highly recommended! Beautiful, pristine cake. The icing was so smooth, we thought it was fondant. We were very excited to find a soft, fluffy delicious icing wrapped around a perfectly cooked, moist cake. I wouldn’t even try another cake baker in the area. I don’t believe it could get any better. Awesome!!!

Since our first order (three years ago) we were hooked. The taste is amazing – will never eat a store-bought cake again. We have made it a tradition to surprise each other with a custom birthday (or random occasion) cake. No matter how eccentric our ideas our, your amazingly talented team comes through with a work of art that is [almost] too pretty to eat.
The two cakes were not only beautiful, but delicious.

Gunilla was a pleasure to work with. I was never worried about our wedding cake. I knew that she would create everything the way we wanted. I brought in photos to help give her a better idea of our vision. We purchased a grooms cake and a wedding cake. After I had my bridal portraits I sent her another updated photo of what my bouquet looked like. She made the flowers on the cake look exactly like my flowers. Everything was great!
My son had a pirate themed birthday and all of the cakes from big box stores were cheesy and boring. I called and said I needed a pirate themed cake and they knocked it out of the park. It was a little pricey, but that is expected when an item with some kind of skill is needed. I will definitely order from them again.
They did an amazing job on my daughters smash cake for pictures. we all loved it so much. the colors matched so well and it was perfect! also really good price. And tasted wonderful!
Dream Cakes made the perfect cake for my daughter’s baby shower. I just gave them a invite and they made it special!!! It was the centerpiece of our celebration!!!!!
American Dream Cakes is my favorite place in Jacksonville for anything baked! My all time favorite is your fresh coconut lemon torte!!!! I look forward to it every year as by birthday cake and I must say a sometimes just as the special treat because I can’t wait until July! Love all the staff keep up the AWESOME baking

Thank you so very much for making the most amazing Graduation Cake for my daughter Claire Taylor LeBlanc. Croatan High School Class of 2016! The Lemon cake was so light and fluffy and the Rice crispy treat “Tennis Ball” graduate cap was Awesome! Thank you so very much…….It was breathtaking.
Honestly, the BEST cupcakes I have ever had! My favorites (so far) include the Boston Cream Pie, the Banana Cream Pie, the Fosters Bananrama, the Over the Andy’s, the Almazing, the Black Forest, the Chocolate Toffee Butterscotch, and the Tiramisu. The prices are very reasonable for the huge gourmet cupcakes that you get. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. I don’t think there is another bakery in town that comes close to ADC.
We were fortunate to have selected you to provide us with the traditional Birthday Ball cake. Not only was your product a superior presentation to the eye, but of superb quality to the pallet. All in attendance were in awe of the quality and magnitude of your presentation. Thank you for a job Well Done!
